Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated HVAC-R journeyman or apprentice (3rd or 4th year) to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with experience in light plumbing and mechanical repairs. Experience in commercial kitchen appliance repair would be an asset but not essential as training can be given.
Responsibilities will include:
· Installation, maintenance, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration, heating and cooling systems.
· Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity.
· Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to complete projects.
· Ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards.
· Provide top-notch customer service with every visit.
· Work both independently and as part of a supportive, skilled team
Skills required:
· Proficient in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair.
· Proficient in Refrigeration installation, maintenance and repair.
· Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
· Experience in plumbing, welding, boiler operations, and appliance repair is preferred.
· Familiarity with construction practices and the ability to read schematics.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Pay: $35.00-$53.45 per hour
