Job Overview
Wookie Landscape & Irrigation is currently hiring team members to join our crew for the upcoming 2026 summer season. This is a full-time seasonal position expected to run from late June through late August or early September. Work is performed at various residential job sites throughout Calgary.
Team members will work on a variety of residential projects while developing practical skills in landscape maintenance, irrigation, fencing, and hardscape installation.

Responsibilities
As part of our crew, you will assist with:
- Landscape installation and site preparation
- Hardscape projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Irrigation installation, fencing, and outdoor carpentry projects
- Loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment
- Site cleanup and maintaining an organized work area
- Following job site safety procedures and company standards
What We Offer
- Competitive pay: $20 to $26 per hour, based on experience and skill level
- 30 to 40 hours per week, depending on project schedule, weather conditions, and operational requirements

- Hands-on experience in landscaping and construction
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required
- Prior experience with landscaping, construction, or landscape maintenance is considered an asset but not required. Training will be provided.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and general outdoor maintenance practices is considered an asset.
- Ability to safely lift and move 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday, including materials such as gravel, soil, pavers, and loaded wheelbarrows.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, day shifts
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
