- Confidently manage safety documentation, ensuring accurate records of inspections, training sessions, and incident reports are maintained.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and company standards.
- Provide toolbox talks and training sessions for employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and proper PPE usage.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Work closely with project managers and site personnel to foster a culture of safety compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Construction Safety Officer (CSO), preferably on high-rise or large-scale commercial projects.
- Must be a currently active/certified Construction Safety Officer.
- Strong dependability is non-negotiable. We are looking for a high-performer who takes initiative.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving materials and maintaining site cleanliness.
- Proficiency in construction management software for tracking safety metrics and compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey safety information to diverse teams.
- Deep understanding of local safety regulations, risk management, and high-rise construction hazards.
