Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, possess strong food and beverage knowledge, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills in a fast-paced environment while providing memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, specials, and wine pairings
- Dish washing
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety regulations
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for order entry, billing, and cash handling purposes
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Experience in food industry roles such as serving or cashiering is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
