Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Technician to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting various accounting functions using a range of accounting software. Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and ADP.
- Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with payroll processing and related activities using systems like ADP
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Support budgeting activities by providing relevant financial data and analysis
- Prepare reports related to financial transactions and account status for management review
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards during all financial operations
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, account reconciliation, and data entry procedures
- Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account analysis and budgeting support
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Prior experience in financial services or related fields is desirable but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of finance-related regulations and compliance standards
