Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics on vehicles.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Assemble components as necessary to ensure the integrity of repairs.
- Utilize power tools and specialized equipment safely and effectively during repair processes.
- Assist customers by explaining repairs needed and providing recommendations for vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when handling parts or equipment during repairs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in automotive repair.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or auto repair shop.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair automotive systems effectively.
- Familiarity with automotive schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting when necessary for vehicle repairs.
- Certification from an accredited automotive program preferred.
