Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CNC Operator & Setter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality precision components. Your mechanical knowledge, proficiency with Fanuc controls, and ability to read blueprints will drive efficiency and accuracy in our production processes. Responsibilities
- Set up CNC machinery, including CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring proper calibration and tooling.
- Program CNC equipment using CNC programming languages and software such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design), SolidWorks, or other relevant tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce precise parts.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments like micrometers to verify dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling machinery, welding equipment, or assembly tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on lean manufacturing practices to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathe and CNC milling machine in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and familiarity with Fanuc controls is highly desirable.
- Experience with CAD software like SolidWorks or similar design tools for part development.
- Basic math skills including measurements, tolerances, and calculations necessary for machining accuracy.
- Ability to use calipers, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift trucks safely.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and assembly processes is a plus.

Pay: $18.25-$21.00 per hour
