Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team. This role requires a strong mechanical background with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and engines.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and engines
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and alignments
- Utilize schematics and diagnostic software to identify mechanical and electrical problems
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturer standards
- Keep work area clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency
Skills
- MUST be able to diagnose electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and engines, etc.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and engine repair
- Ability to read schematics and interpret technical manuals accurately
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools and auto estimating software
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive maintenance tools
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing complex vehicle issues
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
