Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive electrical experience, including industrial and renovation projects, and be proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and working with low voltage systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse electrical installations and maintenance tasks across various settings, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The position requires a strong understanding of power tools, hand tools, and general construction practices.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and renovation environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical installations and maintenance
- Work with low voltage systems, Fire alarm and data
- Assist in the planning and execution of electrical renovations and upgrades
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman/Woman Electrician license or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as an journeyman electrician or in construction-related electrical work
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring, control systems, and Fire alarm
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Commitment to safety protocols and industry standards
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
