Overview
We are seeking a skilled, professional, and growth-oriented Hairdresser to join the team at M&A’S Hair Salon, located inside the Vancouver Public Library building in Downtown Vancouver.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hair artistry, client experience, continuous education, and long-term career growth within a structured and performance-driven salon environment. This role offers the opportunity to build a loyal clientele, develop professionally through company-provided training and certifications, and grow within our internal progression system from Junior to Senior levels.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, maintaining professional and sanitation standards, and contributing positively to the salon’s collaborative culture and operational system.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional haircuts, styling, coloring, grooming, and related hair services
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and workstation organization in accordance with company and health standards
- Participate in mandatory company training programs, workshops, and certification courses
- Collaborate with team members to maintain adequate service coverage and operational efficiency
- Create and maintain professional social media content when appropriate, while supporting the company’s branding and online presence
- Accurately manage appointments, scheduling, and client communications
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and growth-focused workplace culture

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Hairdresser, Hairstylist preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
