Are you an experienced Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or Infant Toddler Educator (IT) who is passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and thrive? St. Ann's Parish Daycare is seeking caring, dependable, and enthusiastic educators to join our team. We are a licensed, faith-based childcare center dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and play-based learning environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide responsive, nurturing care in a licensed childcare setting.
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Maintain daily documentation, attendance records, observations, and health and safety checks.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with educators, management, therapists, and other professionals.
- Follow BC Child Care Licensing Regulations and St. Ann's Parish Daycare policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or Infant Toddler (IT) Certificate.
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare program is strongly preferred.
- Valid Child Care First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Current Criminal Record Check.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality childcare.
