Redwood Plastics and Rubber is looking for 2 new CNC router assistants for the following shifts:
1. Day - 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Monday to Thursday)
2. Afternoon - 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. (Monday to Thursday)
YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a hand router and other equipment including crane, band saws, drill press, grinders and hand tools.
- Produce product to specifications (tolerances, surface finish, trueness of part).
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
- Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure final product meets quality standards. Fill out QC documentation.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Accurately record time to work orders.
- Perform all functions of the job safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work space.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
YOUR SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in a production environment and/or with plastics is an asset.
- Experience with a band saw, drill press and hand tools.
- Able to read a tape measure and calipers.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to read and interpret blue prints, drawings and general work instructions.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the day.
- Possesses manual dexterity, attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Able to self-motivate, prioritize and maintain productivity levels as specified.
- Displays adaptability, flexibility and a positive professional attitude.
