About the Role
This is a dynamic and rewarding position that combines:
- Front desk administration
- Medical office coordination
- Patient communication
- Optical pre-testing
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working closely with people.
You’ll receive training in vision care, optical terminology, and pre-testing procedures — making this an exciting opportunity to build a long-term career in healthcare and vision therapy.
Schedule
- Full-time permanent position
- Weekday shifts + Saturdays
- Approximately 32 hours per week
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming and supporting patients and families
- Answering phones, emails, and patient inquiries
- Scheduling appointments across multiple departments
- Processing payments and balancing cash
- Assisting with patient billing and third-party claims
- Performing optical pre-testing (training provided)
- Preparing, editing, and sending reports
- Managing clinic organization, filing, scanning, and inventory
- Opening and closing the clinic
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment
- Supporting the team with additional administrative duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an optical, medical, or multidisciplinary clinic
- MOA or healthcare administration experience
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- Experience with Jane App is considered an asset
Compensation & BenefitsPay
$21.00–$24.00 per hour
(based on experience and qualifications)
