Job Summary
Motivated high school student seeking a Concrete Labouror position. Physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn construction and concrete work. Comfortable working outdoors in demanding conditions and committed to maintaining safety and quality standards. Have reliable transportation and can travel independently to and from the shop or job sites.
Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to meet project specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Install rebar and perform masonry work as needed for structural support
- Perform carpentry tasks related to form building and renovation projects
- Conduct restoration work including caulking, flooring installation, and general site cleanup
- Support concrete installation processes such as placement, leveling, and finishing
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper technique
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA standards at all times
Qualifications
- Understanding of basic construction site safety practices and the importance of following safety procedures.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding outdoor work.
- Committed to using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and following workplace safety rules.
- Dependable and punctual.
