We are currently looking for an experienced Shipper / Receiver to join our team in Vaughan. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential for permanent employment and benefits for the right candidate.

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments

Enter received items accurately into the ERP/system

Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently

Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse

Follow FIFO procedures and proper material-handling practices
-
Coordinate and provide direction to Pickers and Material Handlers when required
-
Ensure accurate documentation and inventory records
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
-
Prioritize tasks and work with a strong sense of urgency

Follow all workplace health and safety and food-handling procedures
-
Previous experience as a Shipper / Receiver in a warehouse environment

Valid forklift certification/experience with:

Counterbalance
-
Raymond Reach
-
Walkie
-
Experience using computer systems and ERP systems

Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to accurately receive and process items in a computer system

Ability to coordinate and guide other warehouse staff when required

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Food industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of FIFO and contamination prevention procedures is an asset

Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
