Overview
We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for nail care and customer service, creating a relaxing and enjoyable experience for clients. This role involves providing professional nail services, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and contributing to a welcoming salon environment. The Nail Technician will also have opportunities to upsell retail products and additional services, enhancing client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
- Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are met
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs, offering recommendations, and creating a relaxing atmosphere
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experience and increase sales
- Assist clients with body waxing services when qualified or as needed
- Educate clients on proper nail care maintenance and aftercare instructions
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies throughout the day
Experience
- Previous experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role preferred
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, current trends, and sanitation procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to perform body waxing services is a plus but not required; training can be provided if necessary
- Proven ability in retail sales or upselling is advantageous
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism at all times
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $16.50-$30.91 per hour
