Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker/Installer to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing custom cabinets and related woodwork, ensuring precision and quality in every project. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry, woodworking, and various construction techniques to deliver exceptional results for residential and commercial clients. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance living and working spaces while developing your craftsmanship skills.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct and install cabinetry and woodwork.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and finish cabinets using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other woodworking equipment.
- Install cabinets securely on-site, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and finishing details.
- Perform related tasks such as restoration work, construction painting, caulking, rebar installation, siding installation, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing repairs, plumbing connections, electrical wiring as needed for project completion.
- Handle heavy lifting safely during material transport and installation processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or construction with a focus on cabinet making or installation.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other relevant equipment.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work—any additional handyman experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Construction experience across various trades such as restoration projects or manufacturing is desirable.
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation between job sites.
