Job description: Hydraulic Technician / Component Repair Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, and related fluid power components to restore proper function and performance.
- Perform complete disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and precise measurement of components using micrometers, calipers, and other precision gauges to identify wear, corrosion, or damage.
- Operate hydraulic test benches to measure pressure, flow, and volume, ensuring all repaired units meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications and performance standards.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and service manuals to understand system operation, component relationships, and assembly requirements.
- Rebuild hydraulic components by replacing seals, bearings, shafts, and other internal parts; fabricate and repair hydraulic hoses and tubing using specialized hand tools and bench-mounted equipment.
- Manufacture or modify replacement hoses, fittings, and tubing assemblies as required to support repairs and system functionality.
- Complete detailed work orders, technical repair reports, maintenance logs, and provide accurate cost estimates for parts and labor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while strictly following company safety policies and procedures.
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members to meet production targets, customer deadlines, and quality standards.
- Perform additional shop maintenance, mechanical repairs, and related duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
