Schedule: This is a full-time, permanent role of 40 hours per week. The regular scheduled hours will be Monday - Friday.
Pay Range: This position is paid on a flat-rate basis at $34.00 per hour.
This role reports to the Body Shop Manager.

A Day in the Life
- Perform structural and cosmetic collision repairs on a variety of vehicles
- Remove, repair, and replace damaged body panels and components
- Straighten frames and unibody structures using specialized equipment
- Weld, sand, fit, and prepare vehicles for the paint process
- Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards
- Diagnose and document additional damage as needed
- Work closely with estimators, parts, and paint departments to keep repairs on schedule
- Reassemble vehicles, including trim, lighting, and safety-related components
- Perform final quality inspections to ensure a safe, professional repair
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and collision repair equipment
- Deliver high-quality workmanship while meeting production and efficiency goals
What We’re Looking For
- We require a valid provincial driver’s license.
- Automotive Body Repair Certification, I-car structural welding Certification, and a positive can-do attitude!
- A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required
- Experience repairing and replacing body panels
- Welding and metal repair skills
- Frame and structural repair experience
- Knowledge of vehicle measuring systems
- Ability to read repair estimates and manufacturer procedures
- Detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work the physical requirements of a service technician role
- Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- High level of mobility, dexterity, endurance, and sensory awareness
- Ability to work in an automotive shop environment
- Indoor automotive shop with multiple service bays
- Exposure to noise (engines, air tools), fumes (exhaust, solvents), and dust
- Work performed around moving vehicles, hoists, and heavy equipment
- Temperature can vary (shops may be cooler in winter, warmer in summer despite heating/ventilation)
