Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Licensed Trailer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and experienced in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial trailers. You'll work in a professional shop environment with a team committed to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial trailers
- Repair and replace brake systems, suspensions, wheel ends, and air systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical and lighting systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Weld and perform structural repairs as needed
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid 310J Trailer Technician Licence
- Experience repairing commercial trailers
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Own basic hand tools
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent attention to detail and work ethic
Preferred:
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Experience with dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, and chassis
- CVIP or safety inspection experience (if applicable)
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
