We are seeking a reliable and experienced Carpet Cleaning Technician to assist with commercial carpet cleaning projects throughout the GTA, including Toronto, Mississauga, Burlington, and surrounding areas.
This is a contract, per-job position that is ideal for someone with carpet cleaning, floor care, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience who is looking for flexible work. We do have ongoing commercial and apartment building contracts throughout the busy summer season; however, work is assigned on an as-needed, per-job basis, and there will be enough notice in advance.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate commercial carpet cleaning equipment and extraction wands
- Perform carpet cleaning in apartment buildings and commercial properties
- Work alongside our on-site manager and support staff
- Maintain professional standards and high-quality workmanship
Important Job Details:
- Work is per-job / as-needed, not guaranteed daily hours
- Jobs may range from 2–4 hours or 6–8 hour full-day jobs, depending on the project
- Must be able to perform repetitive physical work using a carpet cleaning wand for extended periods
- This is a physically demanding role involving continuous movement, lifting, and repetitive motion
- Candidates must be able to work full shifts when required (up to 8 hours)
Requirements:
- Previous carpet cleaning, floor care, or commercial cleaning experience preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate)
- Ability to confidently operate carpet extraction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Professional attitude and ability to work independently or within a team
