Kingston’s most elegant bridal boutique is seeking a Full-Time Manager & Sales Consultant to represent our brand with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, and passionate about bridal fashion, with a strong understanding of current trends and the high level of care that goes into every gown and every client experience.
Requirements
- Retail experience required; management experience preferred
- Availability for daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional and courteous phone etiquette
- Ability to motivate and guide staff to deliver an exceptional shopping experience
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer service concerns and resolve issues within boutique guidelines
- Monitor store payroll and provide informed input
- Manage day-to-day operations in the absence of the store owner
- Assist with training, recruiting, and onboarding
- Maintain and execute store visual standards
- Convert inquiries into appointments and sales
- Provide effective coaching and support to associates
- Respond professionally to company emails and appointment requests
- Engage customers throughout the full sales process
- Complete all required administrative tasks
- Communicate clearly with staff, customers, and designers
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
Position Overview
As a Manager & Bridal Stylist at Lovebird Bridal Boutique, you will help create magical, memorable experiences for every bride while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the boutique. This role blends leadership, customer service excellence, fashion expertise, and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Personalized Bridal Consultations
- Welcome brides warmly and create a supportive, inviting atmosphere
- Conduct one-on-one consultations to understand each bride’s style, vision, and preferences
- Assist with dress selection and provide expert guidance on fabrics, accessories, and alterations
Customer Service & Sales
- Deliver exceptional service and exceed expectations at every stage of the bridal journey
- Handle inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Promote complementary accessories and products
- Build strong relationships to encourage loyalty and referrals
Boutique Presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom
- Ensure dresses and displays meet boutique standards
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with stylists, management, and boutique staff to support seamless daily operations
- Represent the boutique at events, bridal shows, and trunk shows
Management & Operational Duties
Scheduling:
Coordinate staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for appointments, events, and day-to-day operations.
Inventory Management:
Conduct inventory counts, track stock levels, identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of gowns and accessories.
Ordering & Receiving:
Support ordering from designers and vendors, receive shipments, and inspect new inventory.
Timesheets & Payroll Support:
Prepare and review timesheets for accuracy and assist with payroll-related processes.
Operational Oversight:
Ensure smooth operations through proactive problem-solving, strong organization, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Experience in bridal styling, fashion retail, or related customer-facing roles (management experience a strong asset)
- Strong knowledge of bridal fashion designers, trends, and gown styles
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for making brides feel special
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and support team success
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Digital marketing experience is considered an asset
