Job Title: Wiring Assembler
Location: Calgary, AB
Schedule: Full-Time
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Wiring Assembler to join their production team in Calgary. This role is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components, control panels, and equipment while ensuring quality standards, safety requirements, and production targets are met.
What's the Job?
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Route, terminate, and connect wires, cables, and electrical components accurately.
- Install terminals, connectors, relays, switches, and other electrical devices.
- Perform continuity, insulation, and functional testing of completed assemblies.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Identify and report assembly or wiring issues and assist with troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve assembly concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in electrical wiring, panel assembly, cable harness assembly, or a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Basic understanding of electrical components and safe wiring practices.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
