May to the end of September (2–4-month contract)
What you’ll experience
- Travel through the iconic landscapes of Western Canada (or Eastern Canada depending on your location)
- Guide in destinations such as Banff National Park, Jasper National Park, and Vancouver for the Western tours
- Guide in destinations such as the Maritimes, Quebec, and Newfoundland for the Eastern tours
- Sleep under the stars and work immersed in nature
- Develop strong leadership and field autonomy
- Create unforgettable memories for travelers from around the worldYour role
As a Guide / Group Leader, you are at the heart of the experience.
You will be responsible for :
- Safely driving a 15-passenger van with trailer
- Leading and engaging the group throughout the journey
- Organizing meals and managing camping logistics
- Handling expense tracking and daily vehicle inspections
- Sharing cultural and historical knowledge of the region
- Master interpretation on history, fauna and flora
- Ensuring the safety, cohesion, and satisfaction of all travelers
You are a leader, facilitator, and ambassador all in one.
Requirements
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Strong knowledge of the region, fauna, flora and its history (mandatory)
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Canadian Class 4 driver’s license (BC/AB) or Class 4B (QC)
- CPR Level C certification + 40-hour Wilderness First Aid (WFA)
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills
- Most tours are lead in English / French is an asset
- Previous guiding experience (2 years preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
- Seasonal contract (2–4 months, May to September)
