Medicine Children’s Lodge Daycare is expanding, and we’re looking for a dedicated, passionate, and culturally grounded Early Childhood Educator (ECE II) to join our team.
Who We Are:
Medicine Children’s Lodge Daycare is an Indigenous-led early learning and child care centre rooted in culture, land-based learning, language, and community. We are building a team of dedicated and child-centered educators who reflect and uplift the families we serve.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid ECE II classification in Manitoba
- Current First Aid & CPR Level C
- Clear Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
- Completion of Commit to Kids training (or willingness to complete)
- Completion of Accessibility for Manitobans Act training (or willingness to complete)
- Experience in inclusive, play-based learning environments
- Respect and appreciation for Indigenous knowledge, languages, and cultural practices
- Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully as part of a diverse team
- Experience working with children with supportive requirements is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively with adults and children in English; an Indigenous language is an asset
- Experience working with circle of security framework is considered an asset
