We are seeking a friendly and motivated Junior Barber / Hairstylist to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform basic haircuts, trims, and styling services tailored to client preferences
- Assist clients with consultations to determine their desired look
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon areas in accordance with health standards
- Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience
- Upsell hair care products and retail items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and answering questions about services offered
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication skills to understand client requests and promote services/products
- Ability to work well in a team environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Retail sales experience or interest is a plus
- Previous experience at the front desk or in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not required
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and dedication to professional growth
