Concrete Forming Labourer / Carpenter – Commercial Foundations
Otter Valley Concrete is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our commercial concrete foundations crew.
We work on commercial and industrial concrete projects throughout Southwestern Ontario. This position involves forming concrete foundations, walls, footings, piers and other structural concrete components.
Responsibilities
- Set up and strip concrete wall and foundation forms
- Build and install footing, wall, pier and other concrete formwork
- Install form ties, braces and related forming hardware
- Place and secure rebar as required
- Assist with concrete placement
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Clean, organize and maintain forming materials and equipment
- Work as part of a crew to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Follow company and site-specific health and safety requirements
What We're Looking For
- Experience with concrete forming, carpentry or commercial construction is an asset
- Experience with concrete wall forming systems is a strong asset
- Able to read measurements and use basic construction tools
- Physically capable of performing demanding construction work outdoors
- Comfortable working in changing weather conditions
- Reliable and able to arrive at work on time
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Able to work effectively as part of a crew
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Experienced concrete formers are encouraged to apply. We will also consider motivated construction workers who have related experience and are willing to learn concrete forming.

Schedule
This is a full-time construction position. Start times and daily hours vary depending on project requirements, concrete schedules and weather.
Work Location: Commercial and industrial jobsites throughout Southwestern Ontario. Majority of our projects are within a 30 min radius of Woodstock Ontario.
