Position Title: Saw Operator (Temporary Position)
Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Overview
The Saw Operators responsibility is to maintain and operate the saw by utilizing the production work process manual. This may include unwrapping and uncrating bundles, organization of the bar stock and bar identification.
Work Performed:
· Understand and adherence to Flexitallic’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environment systems, policies, programs and requirements.
· Operate CNC controlled band saws to cut steel beam, angle, channel and pipe
· Ensure all material is coded with heat numbers and grade tagging
· Use of overhead crane and counterbalance forklift to move material throughout facility
· Perform routine maintenance on CNC controlled band saws
Qualifications/Requirements:
· CNC band saw experience (1-2 years)
· Counterbalance forklift experience (1-2 years)
. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (Standing for long periods of time, heavy lifting and stacking of up to 50 lbs)
· Ability to read engineered drawings and work orders
· Applicable General and Related Knowledge
· Ability to utilize tape measure and hand tools
. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

- CNC Bandsaws: 2 years (required)
