C&C Insurance is a busy insurance brokerage focused on customer service and attention to detail. We are currently looking to expand our team with an insurance advisor with the flexibility to work from either of our offices as needed. This job will primarily be based near our Willowbrook Mall office, with opportunity as required to work at our North Road office.
Job Information:
The candidate selected for this position will be carrying out work including, but not limited to the following:
- Assisting with ICBC transactions and related duties such as batching, inventory management, and renewal calls
- Assisting with Personal Lines new business, renewals, and follow-ups (House, Condo, Tenant, and Travel Insurance)
- Educating customers by providing the correct insurance product for their needs
- Data entry, scanning, filing, and collating using our Applied Epic Software
- Other miscellaneous administrative duties
- Any other job-related tasks as required by management
- Act as a floating/flexible position and fill in where needed
Schedule
- 7.5 hour shift (Monday to Friday)
- Full-Time position (Part-Time position may be granted for the right candidate)
- Work occasional Saturday's as required (one day-off during the week)
Education
- Secondary School
- Level 1 Insurance License is preferred, but we will train and license the ideal candidate (all licensing and first attempt at examination will be covered subject to conditions)
- Must obtain license prior to start-date (we may consider P/T training prior to licensing for the right candidate)
Experience
- Data entry / Excel / Word experience
- Customer service experience / Sales Experience
- Previous experience in the Insurance Industry with Applied Epic/Policycenter considered an asset
- Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment
Language
- Ability to communicate in Korean (Strongly Preferred)
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
