Position Overview
AW-NRG is seeking an experienced Firestopping Insulator to join our team. This role involves working across various job sites within the Edmonton area, requiring frequent travel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firestopping and fireproofing within commercial and institutional construction environments.
Requirements
- Language: English
- Education: No formal education required
- Experience: 3 to less than 5 years in a related field
- Valid authorization to work in Canada
Work Environment
- Construction, commercial, and institutional settings
- Installation projects across multiple locations
- Frequent or constant travel required
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
- Supervise and provide guidance to apprentices and junior workers
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards

- Must have reliable personal transportation
