We are currently undertaking a mid rise development project and are seeking experienced professionals who can contribute to the successful planning, coordination, and completion of the project while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead a mid-rise building development project from planning through completion. The Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage the mid-rise construction project from start to finish
- Review project plans, specifications, and construction schedules
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site staff
- Monitor project progress and adjust timelines as required
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements
- Maintain and enforce all on-site safety protocols and procedures
- Manage budgets, costs, and project resources efficiently
- Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control standards
- Resolve on-site issues, delays, and conflicts in a timely manner
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders
- Prepare regular progress reports and maintain project documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction management
- Proven experience completing at least 2 full building projects (ground-up to completion), preferably mid-rise developments
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols, workplace safety regulations, and site safety management
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in project management and construction software
Preferred Skills:
- Certification such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or PMP
- Experience working on mid-rise or residential development projects
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Budgeting, cost control, and risk management expertise
- In-depth knowledge of safety compliance and site management
Work Environment:
- Combination of office-based planning and on-site supervision
- Regular presence required at the construction site
- May involve working in outdoor conditions and active construction environments
Pay: $64,024.23-$120,117.26 per year
