Nurse Practitioner Needed in Ontario: Permanent Position
The Role:
As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care by diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribing medications, and ordering diagnostic tests. You will work independently and in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams, with a focus on patient education, preventive care, and treatment across a broad spectrum of health conditions.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, taking detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations.

Diagnose and manage a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.

Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.

Prescribe medications and administer treatments as necessary.

Educate patients and their families on health care, disease prevention, and health promotion strategies.

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (e.g., physicians, therapists, nutritionists) to develop and implement patient care plans.

Advocate for patient care needs and support patients in navigating the healthcare system.

Coordinate and manage primary patient care independently or as part of a collaborative team.
Requirements:

Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program and relevant training.

CPR/BLS, ACLS, and ACLS certifications

Registration with a regulatory body.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
Compensation:
$125,000-130,000/year
