Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with meal preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, food safety, and supporting a smooth operation that delivers excellent dining experiences to our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided to the right candidate.
Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and preparing basic components of meals
- Support the cooking team by maintaining a clean workspace and ensuring ingredients are ready for use
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, floors, and storage spaces
- Assist with meal assembly during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Restock supplies as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped for daily operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if required
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as lifting and cleaning

Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
