Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair and bodywork, with a strong focus on restoring vehicles to their original condition. This role involves repairing, replacing, and refinishing vehicle bodies using a variety of tools and techniques. The Auto Body Technician will ensure high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and determine the appropriate repair approach
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to remove dents, replace panels, and perform body repairs
- Perform sanding, filling, priming, and painting to restore vehicles’ appearance
- Conduct mechanical repairs as needed, utilizing automotive repair knowledge
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within specified timeframes
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards during repair processes
Qualifications
- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive systems and repairs
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and body shop equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience working with automotive paint and refinishing techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Prior mechanic experience is advantageous but not required

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 50 per week
