We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to assist in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the position requires a self-motivated, dependable individual with developed organizational skills. We will train the perfect candidate in the processes of Parts of Trucks, however experience in inventory and warehouse procedures is preferred.
Details:
- Prepare and complete warehouse orders.
- Receive and process warehouse stock products.
- Perform warehouse inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Operate forklift and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Dispose of leftover packing materials such as crates, pallets and carboard.
- Assist with occasional customer pickups or deliveries as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be physically able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
- Experience in operating warehouse equipment (reach truck, forklift, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Current First Aid Training certificate is preferred.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures, including WHMIS and TDG.
- Willingness to adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
