Job Title - Rental Equipment Coordinator
Company Intro:
Overall Tools & Rentals is a locally owned mom and pop rental shop with a full retail storefront in Kitimat, BC. We sell/rent/service all types of yard works/industrial equipment from chainsaws and weed eaters to mini excavators, fuel cubes, and skid steers. We’re not your average rental shop and also sell fittings, welding gear, generators, and have recently added a full frozen butcher section to better support our community’s good eats.
Since buying the business in 2023, we have listened, adapted, and built on the foundation that the previous business (Fred’s Equipment) laid. Our crew is tight knit, upbeat, and pride themselves on providing excellent service to our community. We supply both family and industry the tools and equipment they need, to get the job done.
Job position description:
We’re looking for a full-time rental coordinator to handle day to day operations including deliveries (both on site and residential), checking rental equipment in/out, organizing rental space, cleaning equipment, utilizing software system for maintenance, and providing front counter coverage as needed.
This role is suited to a self-motivated people person who takes pride in their work and community, can work in all weather, enjoys day to day variety, is comfortable around equipment, and likes to be part of a team, as well as work independently.
Requirements:
· Must have valid driver’s license with trailer towing experience (must be able to provide driver’s abstract upon request).
· Comfortable running equipment with a willingness to learn as rental fleet builds – forklift, mowers, snowblowers, small excavators, etc.
· Must be able to pass drug test for site access.
