Nurse (RN/RPN)
Under the supervision and direction of the Manager of Care, the Nurse is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of life skill groups to prepare residents for independent living. The position provides direct nursing care, including administration of medications and processing of doctors’ orders.
Qualifications include:
- Graduation from recognized training in professional nursing with current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
- Establish and maintain good interpersonal relations, exercise sound professional judgment,
- Experience in group facilitation. Identify and analyze problems and provide effective solutions.
- CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Work independently with a minimum of supervision
- Proficiency with oral and written communication in English
- Availability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and statutory holidays.
