Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Caregiver to provide attentive care and support to children in a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during care hours
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including educational games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
- Assist children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and hygiene needs
- Support children's social-emotional development by encouraging positive interactions and behavior management
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all children
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to plan engaging activities that support developmental milestones
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is preferred
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to providing high-quality care in a safe environment
