Summary
'Join Northland Radiator Service Ltd as a Shop Foreman in our automotive and industrial heating and cooling repair facility. As a key leader, you will oversee daily operations, ensure quality workmanship, and support our mission of delivering exceptional service to our customers.'
Responsibilities
Supervise daily shop activities, ensuring efficient workflow and safety compliance.
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Oversee repair processes for automotive and industrial heating and cooling systems.
- Maintain high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
- Document repairs and maintain accurate records.
- Communicating with the General Manager, assisting general Manager in multiple duties in the shop.
- Training and supervising the technicians and Laborers.
- Some customer site visits.
- Measuring and ordering cores, parts, Shop supplies etc.
- General Maintenance and Shop Cleanliness.
- Following Health and Safety policies and ensuring implementation.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a must. Must be able to stand for long periods.
- Proven experience with automotive and industrial systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with Heat Exchangers (Radiators, CAC, ATA, Coolers etc.) welding, soldering, aluminium brazing and power tools.
- Hands on experience working on Heavy equipment cooling components is a must.
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for customer service and team coordination.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.
- Experience with heavy equipment maintenance is required.
- Electrical experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Some computer knowledge will be required.

Pay: $37.00-$42.00 per hour
