Pharmacy Technician - Specialty (RPhT) Role
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia
Job Type: Temporary 3-month contract (immediate start)
Schedule: Weekdays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $33–$35/hour
Role Summary
We are looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) to join a specialty pharmacy in Halifax. This position focuses on accurate verification and dispensing of specialized medications, offering a calm environment distinct from busy retail settings. Core Duties
- Perform thorough checks and verification of specialty medication orders
- Handle occasional phone duties to assist patients and healthcare teams
- Use the Kroll pharmacy system in daily tasks
Qualifications
- Active RPhT registration in good standing
- Proven experience with Kroll (mandatory)
- Strong attention to detail and familiarity with specialty drugs
- Reliable, professional, and available to start promptly
