Buffalo Trail Public Schools is seeking a passionate, student-centred educator to join the team at Edgerton Public School beginning in September 2026. This temporary part-time position offers the opportunity to work with students across Grades 7–10 while contributing to a collaborative and supportive school community.
Specific Position Details
Anticipated Start Date: September 28, 2026 (subject to change based on operational requirements)
End Date: June 29, 2027
Location: Edgerton Public School – Edgerton, Alberta
Assignment: ELA 7/8, Social 7/8, Health 7/8, ELA 9, Health 9, CTF 7- 9, CALM (Gr. 10), CTS (Gr. 10)
Contract Type: Part-Time Temporary
FTE: 1.0 FTE for the remainder of Semester 1, reducing to 0.875 FTE for Semester 2
Specific Position Duties
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Training and/or experience teaching Division III English Language Arts and Social Studies would be considered an asset.

Experience supporting Career and Technology Foundations (CTF), Career and Life Management (CALM), or Career and Technology Studies (CTS) programming would be considered an asset

Experience and/or training in Assessment for Learning, including formative and summative assessment practices
