Window Installer
As our business grows, we are looking to hire qualified Window Installers to lead a team of installers, that would be responsible for coming to the store, picking up the required orders and installing them at the job site. At Slack Lumber, we take pride in our work environment. We offer a high level of respect between all parties while striving to provide a fun and positive work environment.
Job Description:
- Install windows in both existing residential and new construction builds
- Responsible for all stages of installation process including: prep, removal, installation, finishing, and clean up
- Deliver courteous and helpful service to homeowners
- Provide advice, training, and direction to an assistant installer
Requirements:
- Experience installing windows without supervision minimum 3 years
- Skilled at new and replacement window installation
- Skilled at capping and trimming windows
- Able to operate a brake to make window caps, molds, and fascia
- Skilled at operating common hand tools and power tools
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
- Physically fit for the job
- Good foundational reading and math skills
- A valid G driver’s license
- Own transportation to the shop and job sites (drive assigned Work Van)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
