A day in the life
Successful Account Managers at Layfield are self-motivated, highly disciplined, enthusiastic team players that utilize their customer-driven attitude to assist in developing long-term relationships with current customers and prospects. Using their strong people skills and business knowledge, they act as a consultant to provide new and unique solutions to their customers.
The Account Manager is responsible for servicing and managing the business needs of Layfield Flexible Films customers in defined market segments and ensure sales targets are met and gross profits are achieved. The Account Manager works closely with key divisional staff within the Flexible Films business unit.
How you will lead
- Actively grow accounts, while managing existing customer base in the assigned territory.
- Prospecting and developing exciting business relationships based on trust and respect.
- Provide tailored solutions to customers with on-site customer consultations, including recommendations from our business catalog of products.
- Provide great customer service with every interaction.
What we look for
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success driving sales of polymer film products
- Manufacturing experience
- Completion of post-secondary education in Business and/or Sales is an asset or, a combination of education and experience will be considered
- Valid driver’s license and great driving record.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and presentation skills.
