Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The driver will be responsible for hauling materials such as stone, asphalt, dirt, and other aggregates to and from job sites safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate must have experience operating an 18-speed standard transmission dump truck and be comfortable working in construction, landscaping, and hauling environments.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a dump truck with an 18-speed standard transmission
Haul stone, asphalt, dirt, and other construction materials
Load and unload materials at job sites as required
Complete daily circle checks and report any maintenance issues
Follow all road safety laws, company procedures, and site rules
Communicate with site supervisors, equipment operators, and dispatch
Keep the truck clean and maintained
Work safely around active construction and landscaping sites
Requirements
Valid driver’s licence required for dump truck operation
Experience driving an 18-speed standard transmission
Previous dump truck or construction hauling experience required
Experience hauling stone, asphalt, and dirt preferred
Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Must be comfortable working around construction equipment and job sites
Schedule
Full-time and part-time positions available
Monday to Friday
Weekend work may be available depending on workload
Hours may vary depending on weather and job schedule
Seasonal work may be available during peak construction months
