Twin Rivers Pulp Ltd. is an integrated speciality paper company that produces pulp, paper and energy as well as a wide range of speciality packaging. The Company has a pulp mill located in Edmundston, N.B., and paper mills located in various locations in the United States.
Twin Rivers Pulp Ltd., prides itself on its dedicated employees, the reputation of its high quality products, and its long-term customer relationships. For the Edmundston Pulp Mill, we are currently seeking a: Supervisor Fiber Line (Tour / Rotation).
Challenges:
- Execute the site's health and safety programs, conduct indicent investigations and root cause analysis, and ensure all activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Provide day-to-day supervision of hourly employees ensuring effective job performance and task completion
- Responsible for KPI's, reporting and troubleshooting issues.
- Train, coach, and mentor production employees, fostering a positive work environment
- Develop employee competencies to ensure crew flexibility within all operating areas
- Manage employee scheduling, approve time and attendance
- Monitor production metrics, generate performance reports, and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with maintenance, quality and other departments to achieve production targets and support the implementation of operational improvements.
- Work with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within and between shifts
- Work with shift tour maintenance in giving guidance for repairs on shift or as needed communicating with maintenance management for added assistance.
- Work with other departments to keep the mill running smoothly and minimize down time through proper coordination of work processes and across the different departments.

Requirements:
- Post-Secondary education in Manufacturing, Wood Products Processing, Forestry, Engineering Technology, or related field is considered an asset
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Any other combination of training and relevant experience may be considered
- Must be able to effectively organize crews while mentoring and supporting operators in building knowledge and accountability within their areas.
- Mus have good communications skills for giving their crew direction and for listening to their crew.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset.
- Proven leadership skills are essential, typically demonstrated through previous supervisory roles and experiences.
