Company Overview
Pulse Infoframe is a global health technology company focused on cancer and rare/orphan disease. We believe that medical advances are made when data is shared across boundaries and we are leaders in Real World Data / Evidence. Our customers include leading global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, academic medical centers, and patient advocacy organizations.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Revenue Recognition (ASC 606): Own the complex revenue recognition logic for SaaS (subscriptions), DaaS (data usage/access), and Services (milestone or T&M billing) to ensure full compliance with GAAP.
- Multi-Stream Billing Management: Design and oversee a streamlined billing engine that handles recurring subscription cycles, variable data-usage invoices, and professional services project billing without breaking a sweat.
- Full-Cycle Month-End Close: Lead the charge on the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, delivering accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) that tell the true story of the business.
- Accounts Payable & Vendor Relations: Manage the end-to-end AP process, ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time while identifying opportunities for cost savings and better terms.
- Payroll & Employee Payments: Oversee the precision of payroll processing, commission calculations for sales, and employee expense reimbursements, ensuring everyone stays happy and compliant.
- Cash Flow Forecasting: In a 30-person high-growth environment, cash is oxygen. You will develop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts to ensure the company stays well-capitalized for its next phase.
- Tax Compliance & Nexus: Navigate the "fun" world of state and local tax compliance, specifically monitoring sales tax nexus issues common in DaaS and SaaS delivery across different jurisdictions.
- Internal Controls & Process Scaling: Move the company beyond "startup mode" by implementing scalable internal controls and standard operating procedures that minimize risk and prevent errors.
- Audit & Reporting Readiness: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors or tax preparers, maintaining a "permanent file" of documentation that makes future due diligence or audits painless.
- Strategic Financial Advisory: Act as a right hand to leadership by translating raw numbers into actionable insights, helping the company understand the margins and profitability of each revenue stream (SaaS vs. DaaS vs. Services).
We welcome applications from all qualified individuals. Accommodations are available upon request throughout the recruitment process.
To support an efficient and fair hiring process, we use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist with application screening. Our team reviews all outcomes, and final decisions are made by people, not technology.
