We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join the team at the Vernon location as a Cashier and possibly moving to a Key holder position in the future.
This job is not suitable for Students.
We are looking for the candidate to work a PART TIME position (4 - 20 hours per week), Shifts include afternoons/evening and all weekends. Must be available during these times.
The hours at location are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday, and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sundays an Holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-working well with other staff to create a good customer service environment.
-efficient on a POS system and a good knowledge of customer service.
- Overseeing staff to ensure daily, weekly, monthly tasks are being completed in the Store Manager’s absence.
- Monitor the activities of the store employees to maximize efficiency, minimize errors and respond to customer needs in a timely fashion
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer service oriented and compliant with company policy and procedures
- Manage backroom stock and ensure adequate inventory levels on the sales floor
Knowledge requirements, skills and/or abilities:
- Key holder or Management experience of 2-5 years a must
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to lift boxes from 20 to 45 lbs and comfortable with use of ladders on sales floor and stock room
- Ability to delegate daily task lists for staff and ensure completion of duties and responsibilities
- A willingness to grow your leadership skills
Pay: $18.25-$18.75 per hour
