Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovation Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renovations. You will work closely with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure that all aspects of the project meet specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Execute finish carpentry tasks including installation of flooring, trim, moldings, cabinetry, and doors.
- Assemble and install custom cabinetry and furniture according to specifications.
- Fabricate components using various materials as required by project specifications.
- Install drywall board, tape, and mud as necessary for small renovation projects.
- Lay tiles accurately in designated areas, ensuring proper alignment and finish.
- Collaborate with other trades such as electrical workers to ensure seamless integration of all aspects of the project.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in finish carpentry roles.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Experience with tile laying is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electrical installations related to carpentry projects is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and strength; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
- Valid BC Drivers License and reliable transportation.
