Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring food safety and sanitation, and delivering outstanding service to our guests. Prior restaurant or food service experience is a plus, but we welcome eager learners eager to grow within the food industry.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers promptly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Take orders accurately, upselling menu items when appropriate, and handle cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met by following proper handling procedures
- Assist in food preparation, serving, and replenishing supplies as needed
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Support team members in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Basic math skills for order calculations and cash handling
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills related to the food industry and restaurant operations
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
