Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Retail Receiver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the vital link between inventory management and customer service, ensuring efficient stock handling, order fulfillment, and a positive shopping experience. Your energetic approach will help keep our store organized, stocked, and ready to serve our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against shipping documents, and unload trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks
- Manage stock levels through accurate stocking, order picking, and packing using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Prepare products for sale by packaging items securely for in-store display or e-commerce orders
- Utilize distribution techniques to organize inventory efficiently within the storage area
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area and sales floor to ensure safety and efficiency
- Support shipping & receiving processes by loading/unloading goods and updating inventory records
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS) and distribution practices
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with order fulfillment processes
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Experience with RF scanners, MRPs (Material Requirements Planning)
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, picking & packing activities
